Buttons and Buckles
Buttons and buckles are our historical business.
We produce buttons of various sizes and profiles. Buttons are made of corozo, galalith, polyester, wood or recycled material.
Our dyeing workshop offers custom colors on buttons. The precision of the dyeing process allows us to have the exact color of a fabric or from a pantone reference.
Galalith
Galalith is a natural material derived from milk casein. Biodegradable, antistatic and antiallergic, it offers a great possibility of finishing.
Corozo
The corozo nut comes from a tropical palm tree. Also called vegetable ivory, corozo has a characteristic vein that remains even after dyeing.
Polyester
Polyester resin has the advantage of being able to imitate other materials (horn, mother of pearl, stone...), to have a great dimensional stability and a very good resistance to wear.
Wood
The wood types used in turning are varied: boxwood, beech, olive... They offer natural aesthetic characteristics
More materials...
Many other materials can be used by including them in the resin or by injecting them. Corn cob, oyster shells, seaweed, recycled plastic are all viable alternatives.
